    Description

    W2ENY Gray/Silver Headset w/Boom Mic and Volume Control
    I've been experimenting with MANY headsets and mic elements over the last years.  This works great, ready to plug and go with your radio, features an electret mic element for great sound with nice audio; I've been getting nothing but excellent 'ON AIR' audio reports.
    8 feet of shielded cable, mic boom can go on left or right side.
    The adapter shown plugs directly into your radio's Microphone jack for DC bias (for the mic element), Mic input (RED), PTT (BLACK) and headphone connection (GREEN).
    To keep the cost down, PTT hand or Foot Switch are sold separately.
    FYI the headset shown with the TX500 is an old product that was used for product testing, the gray/silver one in this listing is the equivalent to the one used in testing.
