  • Condition: VINTAGE THRASHED: This vintage Grateful Dead t-shirt has a large group of holes on both the left and right back shoulders due to wear and thinning over time. One of the holes is located near the sun beam on the top right section of the back emblem. There is also a hole on the front belly. The collar, where it folds, is torn. See pictures for details. This shirt is also highly faded. While the tie dye is still relatively vibrant, the silk-screen on the right chest and back are also highly faded.

    Description

    On the auction block today is an absolutely amazing (and rare) Grateful Dead concert t-shirt.
    An old friend of mine purchased this t-shirt in 1979 at a Grateful Dead concert at the Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Oregon. (He is pictured in the shirt.)
    Label size:
    The tag has long been worn away and there are no other identifying marks.
    We have listed this t-shirt as a size "L" based upon its measurements and eBay's measurement guidelines.
    Be sure to check the measurements to ensure a proper fit.
    Everything except the back collar is single stitched. The back collar (only) has a double stitching.
