VINTAGE REAL 80s 7 Seconds tee t shirt screen stars XL (but fits like an M) 50/50 cotton/poly
Authentic vintage shirt from the late 80s. I bought this in the late 80s - I believe at Newbury Comics in Boston, so it's the real thing.
Size states XL but fits like an M. If you are familiar with 1980s Screen Stars shirts, then you know that their sizing is way off. Before I got fat and old, I was a fit model (not very glamorous, but hey, paid the bills) for New Balance and Diesel and other big name vendors. They used me to size all their M clothes. My bones haven't changed, so take a good look at how it fits me, being a prototypical, if not slightly well-rounded these days Medium, and use my ruler measurements to judge the size.
This is a nice thin shirt. Probably 50/50 Cotton poly blend, which is why it has held up well. It has a nice length if you wear medium shirts as I do. Good "hipster" sleeve length too. This shirt is in good shape - I did not notice any holes and the material seems to be in great shape. I did cut the color off, but left the outer rim, so it's holding together well (and honestly looks much better this way - some screen stars shirts had very high collars). It is thus still integral and is highly wearable. I wore it proudly (and carefully) for many years.
It is still a really nice flat black on front and black. I did not photoshop anything, so the color balance may be a bit off in some pics (it does NOT have a red hue like in those back pics. The back looks like the front). This shirt still has many miles to go. Please look across all the pics to see any imperfections.
You should assume that this is a old, vintage shirt, and it is not like new. So other flaws may be present. It is however still holding together  very well and is still highly wearable. Please carefully examine the pics for details.
