    Description

    A Criswell Type 65 note - No Series - One Hundred Dollars (0) The Confederate States of America - February 17th, 1864 - Low Serial Number 2849.
    The center of the note has a vignette of Lucy Pickens, the wife of the Governor of South Carolina.  At the lower left are figures representing the army and artillery branches of the military.  George Wythe Randolph, the Secretary of War is featured in the lower right corner.  The reverse is blue with the denomination.  The signers are J(ames) H. Cooke  for Register and F.C. Weisiger for Treasurer.
    The note has edge wear, body holes/damage, pinholes and some small lightened areas on the face.
