Nice Tested Original Finish Vintage Astatic 200-S Microphone W/ Shure 99A86

Here's a nice looking Astatic 200S (OK, I think it's a 200-S, but no model info on it), desk microphone which has a replacement H-Z Shure 99A86 element.   The last 2 pics show the original element before it was removed, then the Shure, held in place with a couple O-rings.        As with almost all of these old Astatic mics with crystal element (we've had a lot of them over the years), the original crystal WILL BE BAD!  It's amazing how many of these we see here for sale described as "untested".  What a cop out! Can't you just be honest and say DOA since they are EASY to test for output with a DVM (lo-AC scale)?
Anyway, this mic has an old Shure 99A86 that sounds OK, but has a bit lower output than some we've had over the years. The harp players might not be thrilled, but it does work "OK" for most applications.
Cosmetically, it looks very nice with only some minor wear/paint scratches.  It's actually a very dark brown but looks black in the pics.  Stands 8" high. The cord has a standard 1/4" plug on it.
Thanks to ebay/PayPal's current policies regarding returns, we will no longer sell most items as working, but rather "officially" as parts, not working. Also, thanks to the same policies, we will no longer ship directly to any country other than the US. Any overseas buyers must buy thru the ebay shipping program, or other US buyer where we ship only to a US address.
