Simplify device checks with carelink express. means a mobile tablet can now be used to interrogate a patients device in a variety of healthcare settings. Using Medtronic patient connector (model 24967) an apple tablet and free app a device check can be done quickly and sent securely to a device specialist for interpretation.
How it works:
Medtronic is interrogated in a healthcare setting using the patient connector and carelink express mobile app on the tablet.
The app will confirm that transmission was successful.
A medtronic representative or device follow up clinic is notified of the transmission and reviews the data remotely on the carelink express website
A telephone call is made by the reviewer to the clinician in carelink express healthcare setting (where the patients device was inerrogated) to discuss the technical findings.
The patients follow-up clinic receives transmission data for patients currently enrolled in the carelink network.
The carelink express mobile system consists of :
A handheld telemetry wand called the patient connector
