Re-listing this radio because eBay ended the auction saying I manipulated it by saying the radio was not made in Chi-n- !
Kenwood TM-231A 2 Meter Amateur Mobile Transceiver 50 Watt Radio. Condition is "Used".
Genuine Kenwood quality, MADE IN JAPAN (much better quality from Japan).
I have owned this unit for several years, as a spare radio in my shop here. Still works well, I quite simply don't use it any longer. We are moving into a smaller home and I need to downsize my collection of gear. I'm an Extra-Class ham (KM6U).
Tested prior to listing and works just fine- see the photo showing 50 watts output into my Yaesu power meter. Audio was checked by me just now, both transmit and receive, 100% perfect.
Full 50 Watt output.
It's USED! Bracket, stock mic included. I'll even throw in a brand new power cord.
The manual (original) is included, as is an enlarged-page photocopy of the manual - however, each page of the smaller original manual was cut out and placed individually into clear plastic protector sleeves. Both manuals fit into the included notebook ring binder.
Truly, a good old radio that has never ever let me down.
