Up for sale is what appears to be a wine bottle with some hand painted flowers on it. The top of this bottle has a lollipop shaped plastic cork to it and it measures approximately 15.5" tall by roughly 4.5" wide at the bottom.
The area towards the bottom of the glass has a few manufacturing stamps on it which read 150 Cl 3 A 6 while the stamp of 80 mm appears directly underneath it. I'm not quite sure as to what these numbers mean; in as far as date of production may be concerned, or any other type of regional identifier.
The handmade art is signed by the artist "Vicky" with a date of 4-2013; making this bottle just a year shy of a decade old now. I'm not quite so sure who Vicky is, nor am I familiar with her art, but this looks pretty nice. The flowers have a texture to them that you can feel on the glass; especially in the yellow centers of the petals and whatnot. There is some slight fading and smudging going on in some of the artwork, but it's nothing too serious... as it seems that the artist took care to give it a good clear coat to protect the paint job. Simply be advised that there is some minor wear to this art piece; which may entail some minor scratches on the glass itself.
I'm pretty sure this item is collectible in some outsider art circles out there, so please feel free to make me an offer on this. This bottle was sitting on a shelf for quite a few years doing nothing but collecting dust. I cleaned it up as best as I could for the purpose of this sale. It may need a further, more thorough cleaning, but it looks fine just as it is now.
