    violin made around 1900 in the JTL shop in Mirecourt. The shop of
    Thibouville Lamy
    made a huge number of violins of different levels. This is the cheapest level, the
    CELEBRE VOSGIEN,

    . (I could not get a picture of the label).They were in the late 1800's and early 1900's exported to the US and sold for . These are simple violins with inscribed purfling. They were made by excellent craftsmen who used good wood. The result is very good sounding instruments for little money. This violin
