Description
This t-shirt is from a one-day event held in Liverpool, England On 12th May 1984. Echo and the Bunnymen organized a day's worth of events for fans in Liverpool under the banner 'A Crystal Day', beginning with a café breakfast, followed by a bike tour and ferry ride and culminating in a concert at Lime Street's St. George's Hall. The concert was filmed for Channel Four's The Tube (1982-87). The band delivered flawless versions of their two biggest hits, 'The Cutter' and 'The Killing Moon', as well as 'Villiers Terrace', 'Never Stop' and 'Silver'. T-shirts from this concert were only available at this one show and via mail order shortly after.
Acme was a merchandising company based in Northampton who had the license to produce swag for Echo and the Bunnymen.
