    This offering is a
    RARE T-68 CONFEDERATE STATES OF AMERICA .00 NOTE.  TYPE 68 underwent a major change in 1864.  The center vignette is of horses pulling a field artillery piece into action.  A reddish-brown overlay covers 70% of the note and t
    he back is blue with a large "TEN" and four circular medallions with "10" at the corners.  Good quality bank note paper was used. Printed by Evans & Cogswell (on front left side.)  9,145,000 issued.
