7lb 14oz Fender Custom Shop '64 Jazz Bass Relic Nocaster Blond over ASH

This 64 Custom Shop Jazz Bass Relic weighs in at 7lbs 14oz which is
very
light
for a Jazz bass from any era.   It was made in January 2013
and the Fender Custom Shop used a super lightweight Swamp Ash body for this bass.
It sounds and plays great and is in Mint condition.
It is finished in No-Caster Blonde which represents the original Fender 50's/60's blonde nitro finish which would have
aged
over 50 or so years. I have included front and back body photos in muted light, normal inside light and sunlight to illustrate the different tones this finish takes on. You can also see the prominent Swamp Ash grain coming through the finish. The neck is 1/4 sawn with a 9-1/2" fingerboard radius and medium-jumbo frets making it more playable than the 1964 model which had a 7-1/2" radius and thin vintage frets. Most of the finish on the back of the neck was removed as part of the relic process.  A coating of beeswax has been applied to the back of the neck giving it a smooth satin finish

The headstock is not painted but has a great patina which makes it look like it matches the body color. I have included photos showing the areas with the most prominent relic treatment
