    1862 T-55 The Confederate States of America note.
    The T-55's were printed on plain pink paper with no reverse design. It was considered too expensive to print backs on such low denomination notes, though it was considered as there is a proof note with a back prepared that is known today. The center of this note features a Vignette of Clement C. Clay who was a Confederate Senator for Alabama. This note was payable six months after the ratification of a Treaty of Peace between the Confederate States and United States.
